Quality Electrodynamics (QED), located in Mayfield Village, OH, is a global developer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced medical equipment electronics. Current products include cutting edge MRI radiofrequency (RF) antennas/coils for diagnostic imaging at the full range of magnetic field strengths. Most of these are FDA Class II noninvasive devices used for obtaining diagnostic images for various human anatomies.
Company History
Quality Electrodynamics (QED) was founded in 2006 by Dr. Hiroyuki Fujita with a vision to revolutionize medical imaging through advanced technical innovation in clinical diagnostic equipment. QED innovates new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology for radiofrequency (RF) coils/antennas. MRI RF coils are non-invasive medical devices that facilitate the collection of diagnostic images with MRI machines. QED leads the development and creation of cutting-edge, cost-effective technology solutions for leading MRI original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
QED enables research in the design, development and manufacturing processes to improve the quality of patient care and provide clinicians with the tools necessary to enhance diagnostic imaging, improve workflows and provide patient comfort. Our products can be found in the leading hospital and medical research institutions worldwide. Our investment in state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and testing facilities and tools mark its commitment to enabling the discovery of new applications of the MR sciences.

Quality Electrodynamics (QED) has experienced tremendous growth with numerous accomplishments. We have received local, national and international recognition. Our Excellence in Exporting has been recognized by the President of United States and the Governor of the State of Ohio and our innovations have been recognized as we have been the recipient of many awards including the National Tibbetts Award. QED has also been the recipient of numerous grants such as NIH, SBIR and Ohio Third Frontier to encourage and further our scientific efforts. News organizations such as Forbes Magazine, Inc.
